Australian Three Day Eventer Paul Tapner has shown just how diverse SmartShake can be across a host of sports, highlighting its use within equestrianism. Posting a picture of his red SmartShake on social media, the event rider who is now based in Britain, was keen to highlight his use of SmartShake to stay hydrated at competitions.
Tapner is one of Australia’s top prospects for the Rio 2016 Olympics and his 2015 season has started well, proving a formidable pathfinder at the world’s largest three day event – the annual Badminton Horse Trials held back in May.
On the eventing circuit, his red cross country colours make him easily recognisable so a red SmartShake fits perfectly.
A spokesperson for SmartShake said “We are delighted to see a variety of sports using SmartShake and highlighting how diverse they are. Three day eventing is the ultimate test of horsemanship and is very physically demanding on the rider as well as the horse. Paul Tapner has shown how SmartShake can help to keep riders hydrated, and also fit in with their cross country colours”.
